  • During a wonderful four week trip with amazing experiences and accommodations in NZ and Sydney, this spot was the best place we stayed. Scott and Jocelyn and their cleaning staff are young, competent, gracious, helpful, and quintessentially Kiwi, which is the highest praise I can give. As others have said, every detail in the room is perfect, the outside space is peaceful and beautiful, the hot tub under the stars is delicious, and the location is right next door to the Park kayaking places and two wonderful restaurants. We so appreciate the work these owners have done. I give them the highest rating possible.

  • We can only echo other recent reviews. It’s a great place to stay to explore the Abel Tasman park, using the water taxi base that’s almost next door to get out and about. We stayed a week and were very glad we did. With the help of Scott, the owner, we were directed towards plenty of things to keep us occupied.

A delightful lodge, in quiet surroundings, with amazing lush tropical garden and birds everywhere. The best part is we could walk to 2 cafes and to the start of the Abel Tasman trek. Wow! Better than expected.
